SEMO Mutual is located in Dexter and has served the Southeast Missouri
region for more than 90 years. Neighbors helping neighbors led to the creation
of mutual insurance companies in Missouri over a century ago. Each company is a

SEMO Mutual is overseen by a board of directors made up of local
farmers and business people who are policyholders. Directors are elected to the
board by policyholders. As members of the community and region, the board is
able to understand our particular insurance needs that may differ from other
regions in the state. However, SEMO Mutual, by working with other mutual
insurance companies, offers the necessary range of insurance policies to
provide protection for our community.
Members of the governing board are: Tom Rendlemen of Oran, J. T.
Sentell of Qulin, Arthur L. Goldschmidt of Fisk, Darrel K. Pyle of Dexter and
Paul D. Culbertson of Dudley. Gary Trammell serves as secretary.
As members of the communities we serve, we have a personal stake in
